Thanks for the roses, but…

LBD

…I think I’m getting a little bored with all the red and the pink and the cuteness of it all. Don’t get me wrong: I’m loving all the wonderful group gifts that keep jumping into my inventory, and it is nice to feel the hum of celebration in the air, but I’ve been seeing hearts everywhere I look for the last two weeks. So, for my Valentine’s Day, I’m wearing black. In the language of flowers, do you know what that says? It says nothing at all, because my lips are sealed. *winks*

(Well, except to say, thank you, ‘secret’ admirer; I got the red roses you sent me last night, and they are truly beautiful.)

STYLE NOTES

I won this lovely dress from Shan at the fabulous opening event for Club Infusion on Saturday; it’s from Shan’s brand new collection, and my poor SL photography skills do not do it justice. Up close you can see the wonderful detailing of the chest prim, and the left side of the dress has a sculpted ribbon tie that draws attention to the legs. The Finesmith jewelry dresses up the dress beautifully, and the heart purse (a group gift) and ladylike slingbacks from G. Field add the perfect finishing touches for a truly stylish and sophisticated outfit, for Valentine’s Day, or any day.

LOL! But just think — by tomorrow it’ll all be over, except for the dried rose petals and the tears. 😉
